Show Notes:
Roving reporters Daniel Thackeray and David Bolton take us to the 2nd Radio Production In The North Conference.
The conference is the brainchild of Ashley Byrne of Made In Manchester and useful for anyone involved in audio production – whatever the means by which they distribute their work.
Obviously, we couldn’t put too much of the conference itself in the show but we hope there’s enough to give you a flavour of the day (the introduction from Ashley and Lynn Kelly (of Northwest Vision and Media).
As we’re most interested in “cross platform” (this usually involves the internet and that’s our medium) what was said by Jo Meek of All Out Productions, Mel Harris of Crosslab and Justine Potter of Savvy Productions (thanks to Justine for the use of the photograph) was of particular interest. We’ve given our responses at the end of the show.
This was Dan and David’s first attempt at fronting a podcast and we’d like to thank them for their effort! Also, thanks to Ashley Byrne for taking the time to answer our questions.
