It’s been a busy month for Vexation Audio with the start of Nova Star Hunters Season 2 and the release of the Season 1 Special Edition
So now seemed a good time to showcase this awesome Video Trailer created by Greg McQueen of Big Bad Media. Greg is a writer, web designer, podcaster and new media specialist.
His support for Nova Star Hunters and Vexation Audio has been invaluable. We love his work and we think you will too!
We’ve finally launched the Nova Star Hunters – Special Edition! Packed with extras and featuring all the shows in the highest quality mp3 format, the special edition has been a labour of love for the makers of Nova Star.
We’ve crammed in as much as we can. All the sorts of things you’d expect from a special edition; commentaries, deleted scenes, bloopers and a special extra that sheds light on the genesis of Nova Star Hunters with the BBC Comedy Unit and the BBC7 initiative “Witty and Twisted”.
Another new thing – we’re asking you to pay for the download. Why? Well, we’ll never charge for Nova Star Hunters directly. All the shows will remain freely available for download via the website and iTunes…forever! But making a show like Nova Star Hunters costs money, so we’re asking you to support us with your purchase. Doing so will allow us to continue to create the show and to develop it further into the future.
You can purchase the special edition HERE
Aartan Away is a podcast produced by a community of gamers at the Worlds Away forums. The regular hosts are Simon Depledge, an avid gamer and general all round good bloke, and Rik of Vexation Audio.
What do games have to do with audio? Well, a surprising amount, in fact. Gamers were some of the first people to begin “podcasting” way back when and there continues to be a strong fraternity of gamers who regularly cast about their current games, what games they’re looking forward to, or just about the trials and tribulations of online life!
The crew at Aartan Away also recently began creating their own fan-fiction in the form of short audio stories! We’d urge you to checkout Aartan Away and catch up with one of the best gaming communities around. Below you’ll find Episode 6 of the podcast, which was our special festive xmas episode. Well, sort of. We were drunk anyway…
