The Internet is our sound library. And The Creative Commons Licence is what makes this possible. For info on Creative Commons click HERE
With the sounds we use from the internet it’s been our goal to give due accreditation to every person who has contributed in accordance with the Creative Commons license. However, this is extremely difficult when thinking about the sorts of shows we are producing. In a single episode of Nova Star Hunters, for instance, we may use the sounds of literally hundreds of people – which would make the credits of a thirty minute episode longer than the show itself!
The best we can do is direct people to sites (like Freesound) which co-ordinate people and utlilize the tools they provide for accreditation. We have done so in the Freesound section above. We’ve also credited all images used on this website. Other credits sections (such as BBC7) will be added as we collaborate with further partners.
